Nokia Windows Phone : Leaked Pictures and Video

Nokia's latest windows phone was leaked today just a few hours ago in a press meeting. This is not the first time Nokia, or any other company has tried deliberately to leak the news of a new cell phone to create hype in the market.
Similar attempts have also been made by Samsung and Sony in the past to prepare the buyers for a new gadget.
Nokia's employee Stephen Elop appears in the video that leaked the handset. In the video Stephen asks everybody to turn off all recording and picture capturing devices before he starts to unveil the new gadget and calls it 'super confidential'. It was already predicted that Nokia would be eyeing to get Windows Mobile as its OS but no practical action had been seen. However all changed today when a demo of Nokia's new phone was 'accidentally' leaked.
The new Nokia device running Windows 7 Phone aka 'Mango' looks just like Nokia N9 and is codenamed 'Sea Ray.' The front of the cell phone is stylish and all Gorilla glass.

The over all design is very similar to N9 except the lens of the camera has been slightly moved. The back of the cell phone gives a cushion look. There is also a newly added shutter button on the right of the cell phone.

The detailed video shows the Nokia representative giving a demo of the following 'Sea Ray' programs;
  • Pictures (face recognition and photo tagging)
  • XBOX (only Nokia to run the XBOX games)
  • Microsoft Office
  • Calender
  • Browser (exactly same as on the PC)
  • Nokia claims it has 500 new features with 'Mango'
The complete video of the leaking is here!!

Nokia's shift to windows will surely lure users who are hoping for a change but will this move take Nokia back to the top? Only time will tell! We will surely review 'Sea Ray' once we get our hands on it.
